SGI’s daily student social programme around the best bits of London has always been great, but since our new events co-ordinator, Vanessa started last month, it has turned into something really fantastic.
It seems like every day there is a new activity for our international students to do in the world’s coolest capital city.
There are lots more events involving food, based on student feedback. However, we still have the incredibly popular musicals trips in London’s theatreland and of course, the world-famous guided walks from SGI teacher, Owen and his little dog Jess.

You are really missing out if you haven’t seen what our students did in London last week and the week before that when we had the extra special SGI pub quiz.
In fact, lots of long-term SGI students said that the pub quiz was one of the best Social Programme events they had ever been to. Maybe it was because of the free food and drinks – only joking! So, actually, we are thinking about doing another Pub Quiz in the summer. Should we include the Pronunciation round again (see the video here)? That seemed to be the most difficult task on the night.
Of course, at SGI we like to think that we have the best social programme of any English school in London. Of course, we also have the best teachers giving the best English lessons, too.
