SGI offers daily extra-curricular opportunities as part of the overall experience. We want you to make friends and take full advantage of all that London has to offer outside of the classroom experience. Look out for activities that enable you to use your language skills, learn something new and have fun at the same time. SGI’s enrichment activities are designed for both personal and professional development.
Students under 18
- The minimum age for our adult courses is 16. Under UK law, students younger than 18 are still minors. Because of this, we have a strict Safeguarding Policy for these students. Our Safeguarding Officer provides regular staff training for the protection of our students. We also have special rules for students who are under 18.
- In homestay accommodation, under-18s should eat with the host family every night (full or half board options only are available for these students).
- Students must be home by 22:00 each night.
- School staff and homestay hosts must have criminal records (DBS) check.
- Parents must complete and sign a written consent form.
