Hi there, I've taken over from Alex and I've become the new Social Organizer. In the last few weeks I've organized some great activities, including visiting Madame Tussauds – which was very popular. I tried to organize a Picnic in the park instead of going to the pub – however due to the stereotypical British weather we couldn't go, so Jon and I took our students to the Pub.
Owen, a teacher at SGI but also an excellent and qualified Tour Guide has been taking our students on some fantastic walks all around London. Owen also organizes a trip to the theatre every week. In the past few weeks, our students have been to see 39 Steps and The Lion King.
I also had the task to organize the Pre – Summer Party, which included a Pub Quiz created and hosted by Jon, and a Raffle with many great prizes. Team "Scatter' won the Pub Quiz by 1 point. Everybody won a small/ big prize in the Raffle – the prizes ranged from a free 1-1 lesson to IELTS book to typical London souvenirs. Hannah, Jon and I had a great night and I hope all the students did to.
