Pub, Walk, Afternoon Tea and The Natural History Museum!

On Monday Jonathan and I took several students to the pub for the usual welcome drinks. We chatted about London life as well as the Euros. There was a lot of banter over which team will be victorious and with the France-England match that evening things were getting heated! Most left before the football started but a few stayed and we moved to another pub to get a good view and to enjoy the game. On Tuesday Marija took 8 students on the sightseeing walk of London. On the way to meeting their guide, Marija showed them Leicester Square as well as China Town.  It was a cold afternoon but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and lots of photos were taken by the time they ended the walk in Parliament Square.  Wednesday saw Danielle taking everyone for afternoon tea at Browns. They were really surprised by the amount of food and questioned whether we ate like this every day before dinner! Danielle assured them it was only on the odd rare occasion these days. On Thursday Julia took them to the Natural History Museum. Once they got there everyone seemed to split up and go in their own directions, but those that I spoke to day said that they found it really interesting and loved the architecture of the building as well as the dinosaur exhibition. Enjoy the club night tonight and have a great weekend!
