Accommodation Eastbourne

Residential Accommodation

Students on the Summer Holiday course can stay in residential accommodation in the College.  This is a safe environment for juniors and teenagers and a great place to make friends and have fun.

You will eat, sleep and study in our beautiful building, and you can use our garden and our sports facilities in your free time.
Most of our dormitories have four or five beds, though some have more and two large rooms have ten beds.  The bathrooms are shared, but we always have at least one shower per 7 students.

In the girls' accommodation, there is at least one WC per 10 students.  In the boys' area, there are urinals and at least one WC per 11 students. Residential students get a continental breakfast, a hot lunch and a hot dinner every day.  If you go on an excursion, you will have a packed lunch.

Homestay Accommodation

If you aged between 13 and 15, you have the option of staying with one of the school’s host families. Homestay students on the Summer holiday courses share a bedroom with one other student. If a student comes to the school as part of a group they will normally be put in the same host family as another student from their group.

The school is proud of their host families and the positive feedback they get from students and the  homestay officer visits all the host families regularly to make sure:

  • Host families give our students a warm and friendly home
  • They treat students as part of the family
  • The house is clean and comfortable
  • Every student has a comfortable bed, a wardrobe and a cupboard for clothes, a desk for studying and a mirror.

Students will have breakfast and dinner with your host family, plus lunch at weekends.  They will have a hot lunch at the school during the week as part of the Summer Holiday course.
