St George International is housed in a purpose-built training centre in the fashionable Fitzrovia district of Central London, just to the north of Oxford Street, where we are able to offer comfortable, quiet, attractive classrooms, free wireless and internet facilities and a study centre.
The Study Centre on the ground floor (room GF5) is generallly available for students to use from Monday to Friday after 3.00pm. The study centre room is also where the 'Homework Club' takes place most days at 3.15pm. This is where students can gather to do their homework with a teacher available to assist them.
Reading and Listening Materials
The school contains a selection of reading material and DVD’s that students can borrow. You can choose from graded readers, novels, magazines, grammar and vocabulary workbooks and exam practice materials all with a view to helping you develop your language skills.
STUDENT SOCIAL AREA
In our lower ground floor we have a comfortable quiet social area where you can relax and socialise at break times and after classes. This student area also has a number of useful information boards that provide you with information on the school social programme as well as events taking place in London.
CLASSROOMS - Main building
SGI has a mix of group and private tuition rooms for classes of varying sizes. All the larger group rooms also have computers linked to projectors. Our teachers make full use of this resource, as well as DVD/CD players and ipads, to ensure your lessons are stimulating and varied.
CLASSROOMS - Westminster University
During busy summer months we hire extra classrooms at Westminster University, which is only a two-minute walk from the school building. These classrooms are bright and spacious.
SGI has a high speed fibre-optic internet connection for students to use. There is free Wi-Fi access throughout the school, and you can access the internet on your phone, laptop or tablet wherever you are in the building.
We are able to offer disabled toilet facilities on the ground floor of our centre.
