Studying in the UK

Online Group Intensive General English

This programme combines the morning  ‘Standard’ programme with an afternoon mini-group. The mini-group allows the tutor to focus on the immediate needs of the students whilst improving listening and speaking skills, expanding vocabulary and developing confidence.  Activities range from discussions of issues and topics such as travel, film,  culture and politics to project work and task-based learning. Work may be integrated with cultural visits outside

the classroom. The emphasis is on group work and effective oral communication.

Our Intensive English mini-group course provides the student with 22.5 hours of study per week.

The small class sizes, in both the morning and afternoon, allow a great deal of personal attention for students, ensuring their maximum progress. Besides working on all the main language skills in the morning, the afternoon classes are structured to encourage and develop students’ ability to speak and communicate in English.

The emphasis is on group work and effective communication.
