SGI Professional Internships are arranged by a specialist agency which is accredited by University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) as a provider of quality work experience placements. Students may also apply for the Cambridge Certificate in Work Experience. This certificate is internationally recognised and is valuable when applying for employment.

The certificate is available at two levels

  • Standard - This is for placements with a minimum of 105 hours. The Standard certificate requires candidates to complete an assessment booklet about their placement.

  • Advanced - This is for placements with a minimum of 210 hours. The Advanced certificate also requires an assessment booklet to be completed, but in greater detail, together with detailed evidence of tasks undertaken during the placement
