Pub Quiz Night
SGI Halloween Party!!
At the end of October we had a fantastic party to celebrate Halloween!
We all met at the King & Queen pub in , just 5 minutes from the school. We had an upstairs room to ourselves which was decorated with a Halloween theme.

Teacher dressed up for Halloween
There were free drinks and delicious snacks like nuts, crisps, chocolates and, of course, lots of fun! Some people were even dressed up for Halloween and with everyone in a party mood, we started the round of quizzes.

Students in the party
The quizzes were based around questions on different subjects: Geography, History, Films, etc. The film part was really funny, with the teachers acting out scenes from different movies so the students could guess the name of the film or the actors.
We had some fun prizes for the best teams, the first prize was a fridge magnet of London, the second prize was a huge pencil with the Union Jack and the third prize was a pair of Halloween socks! But there were sweets for everyone, because we didn’t want anyone playing a treat! It was a fantastic opportunity for students to meet each other, celebrate Halloween in a different way and of course practise their English!
