Senior Programme in London: 50+ English and London Life
Special Adult Programme
Adults of all ages are welcome onto our programmes throughout the year but some students prefer to study with other older students and to enjoy our senior programme, 50+ English and London Life.
If you are over fifty years old this course offers you an ideal opportunity to:
- visit London for a stimulating and purposeful holiday
- refresh and improve your command of English
- enjoy a comprehensive selection of guided excursions and social and cultural activities that will give you a memorable and rewarding study holiday in one of the great world cities.

Please note: Weekend excursions optional and generally cost around £30 per excursion.
Your Study Sessions
20 lessons of 45 minutes per week ( 15 hours) in the classroom including:
- group activities to improve your understanding and use of English
- free and guided oral practice
- introductions to excursions and special activities of the programme
Whatever your age, and however long it is since you completed your formal education, you need have no doubts about your ability to return to the classroom. The course is informal and relaxed, and your teachers will do all they can to ensure that you enjoy it.
Your Accommodation
The school provides selected homestay accommodation so that you have no worries about your welfare and your meals. Hotels and apartments are also available at preferential rates. Please go to the page ‘Living in London’ for full details of the accommodation service we provide.
Excursions
Your programme will include guided excursions and activities within London . All the arrangements will be made for you by the school. Free afternoons are also scheduled to give you time for shopping and sightseeing on your own.
Partner Programme without English lessons:
