BULATS test in London with SGI Test Centre
SGI have become a Test Centre for BULATS Tests.
BULATS is a practical test of language ability relevant to people working in a business context; moreover, it is also a reliable test of the language ability of employees, trainees and students. Candidates can choose to take the Computer Test or the Standard Test. This is an online Business English test provided by Cambridge ESOL.

New Teacher Training course - Cert IBET
Trinity College London validated Cert IBET (Certificate in International Business English Training)
We are delighted to announce that we have been validated by Trinity College London and English UK to run a course training teachers to teach Business English effectively.
We are very pleased with this industry recognition that we are Business English specialists who consistently provide high quality business-oriented courses to individuals, groups and companies.
The SGI course will be publicly available from April this year and is open to English language teachers from all over the world who have at least one year teaching experience. The course is a distance learning course that can be completed within a six month time frame.
There is excellent tutor support by Skype and e-mail and an interesting and stimulating range of issues and subjects covered on the course. Full details of the Cert IBET course.
All change for student visas!
31 March 2009 is the launch date for Tier 4 (students) of the UK’s new Points Based System, and of the many far-reaching changes in how international students should apply for student visas.
We are delighted to announce that Saint George International has been licensed by the UK Border Agency to enrol international students under Tier 4 of the Points Based System. For more details about the Points Based System, visit the UK Border Agency website website.
Launching the new look of our e-Learning & Community site - with several new exciting features
This is a free e-learning programme for SGI students for before, during and after their course and is also available for students who are unable to come to London.
The new look puts all the Study options on the same site as the online Community - so students can practise their English on their Study Plan, sign-up for social events on the LIVING section, as well as getting more information about things to do in London, seeing Teacher recommendations, and booking weekend excursions.

International Students House and SGI
We have secured a number of single rooms at this excellent hostel. Only an 8 minute walk from our centre, International Students House offers a wide range of services for its residents. If you want to live and study in Central London speak to us about our reasonably priced and convenient year-round student residences.
ISH has a restaurant, bar, and full internet services. A fully equipped gym, theatre and cinema are all available on site and a wide range of weekday and weekend events is always available.
SGI University Foundation Course - Full Course!!
We are very happy to announce that our University Foundation Course is full with 12 students enrolled.
The course has become increasingly popular over the years with students going onto some great universities such as Oxford University, SOAS (University of London), Manchester University and City University. Students come from all over the world and we are confident this year’s group will be very successful.
SGI’s New Hampstead Student Residence
SGI now has rooms in a great new all-year student residence in the beautiful Central London area of Hampstead.

Other courses - Teacher Training Courses
As well as a wide range of English language programmes, SGI also offers teacher training courses and foreign language programmes.
Those interested in becoming EFL teachers can take our Trinity Certificate in TESOL. This 4 week full-time or a 12 week part-time programme starts regulary throughout the year.
Experienced teachers, wherever in the world they are based, can study for our Distance Learning Trinity Diploma in TESOL.
We teach all world languages, from Arabic through French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish, to Urdu. Tuition is 1:1 in our school or your home or company. We also teach small groups in company.
