A focus on academic skills

As well as English language development and preparation vital for the IELTS, the course also focuses on academic skills and learning strategies that will help students at a British University, for example, how to research projects in a library, and giving your opinion in a seminar. The course can be followed for a minimum of 4 weeks depending on the individual’s circumstances and level of English.

For long-term students (12 weeks or more) wishing to prepare for this examination and whose level is below a good Intermediate level, Saint George International will recommend an appropriate combination of General English and IELTS Preparation.
