Terms Two and Three
University Foundation Course
January – June
Key objective: To prepare students for a British University and give them the necessary skills to succeed.
Minimum Entry point: IELTS 5.0 equivalent (Intermediate). Students at this level are not required to take Term 1.
Terms Two and Three cover:
- Academic Skills including note-taking, essay planning, preparation and writing, quantitative analysis and seminar practice
- Specialist Subject Areas These are taught in 2-week blocks covering: Business - including Finance, Marketing, , Management & Organisations, and Economics - including Competition, Inflation & Deflation and The World Economy Politics - including British Government, Democracy, Freedom & The Media Geography - including Population Trends and the impact of Globalisation

practice of exam technique - IT skills, Guided Self-study and Self-Study modules
