Can be taken as a stand-alone course or as an element of a general Business Communications Course.
The course focuses on appropriate vocabulary and phrases for persuasive and clear formal and informal presentations as well as looking at techniques to increase the impact of your presentation.
Topics covered include:
- Introducing and outlining your presentation.
- Signposting your presentation so that your audience will be able to follow your line of argument.
- Using the language of change to be able to describe visuals and market trends, as well as talk about causation.
- Rhetorical techniques to make your presentation more interesting and effective.
- Dealing with questions.
The materials will be presented through a range of visual and audio media.
