Learn French In Glasgow

at St George International

When you learn French in Glasgow with SGI, you will have plenty of opportunity to practise what you learn, as the city, now has a good number of French style pattiseries, bistros and restaurants. One such place, Café Francoise, a French café in the centre of town , has the reputation of being like a real French family café and has an old Paris feel to it, with dark wood booths and old French music playing on the background. So why not get down there, order yourself some strong coffee and a pain au chocolat and parler du francais?

Students learning languages for all kinds of reasons. At SGI, we offered three study programs available for you to choose with:

The city of Glasgow, situated on the River Clyde, has the 3rd largest city population in the UK and is the largest city in Scotland. Going back to the 18th century the city grew in wealth and stature as one of the main hubs of trade with the Americas. It further established itself as a city of importance with the onset of the Industrial Revolution and became famous then as both a centre for engineering in general and shipbuilding in particular. This success led to Glasgow being labelled as the 'Second City of the British Empire' in late Victorian and Edwardian Britain.
