Cambridge English School

The SGI Partner Cambridge School was founded in 1962, like SGI London, and is accredited by The British Council. It is open all year and provides quality English courses for adults (aged 16+) from all over the world.
The School is centrally located in Cambridge, just 15 minutes’ walk from the city centre and its famous university colleges.
The staff pride themselves on creating a caring, friendly atmosphere in the School. Students receive a warm welcome and quickly get to know their fellow students and the staff.

Listening centre

Listening centre

Students can use our well-equipped digital listening centre for private study between 8.45 – 9.30, and 13.00 – 17.30. We have a variety of materials to help you develop your listening skills, including situational English and songs. You can also work on improving your speaking skills and pronunciation. All the current EFL exam materials are also available for private study.
Self-access room/library

Self-access room/library

The self-access room/library is open for private study between 8.45 – 9.30 and 13.00 – 17.30. A range of materials is available to help you work on your grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and listening skills. Exam materials are also available for private study. If you enjoy reading, there is a library of books, which are graded according to level. You are welcome to borrow books to read at home.
