Location

The SGI Younger Learner Summer School has a wonderful Central London location adjacent to the famous Regent’s Park and London Zoo, and near to the popular entertainment district of Camden Town. These summer holiday courses for 6-9 year-olds and 10-17 year-olds take place in a magnificent historic building in the street Gloucester Gate with purpose built classrooms and a delightful walled garden.



Accommodation

Homestay option

Accommodation is arranged through a British Council accredited accommodation agency. Homestays are carefully selected and regularly inspected. Accommodation is normally provided in shared rooms (students of different nationalities sharing together). Single room accommodation can be made available at extra cost. Home stay providers will assist with students’ laundry. All meals are included. Lunch Monday to Friday is taken at the school and a packed lunch provided on Saturday excursion days. All other meals are taken with the with the home stay provider. Students must be 14 years of age or older and all bookings are for a minimum of 2 weeks. For full accommodation fees please read here.

Residential Programme

Students attending the residential programme stay at  London University halls of residence. There are a number of common rooms for activities such as discos and quiz nights. Oxford street and the West End are a short walk away.

Airport Transfers  

We can arrange airport transfers from all London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, City, Stansted and Luton) and train terminals (St Pancras).

Door-to-Door car service (school days) 

SGI offers a door-to-door car service for students to and from school every day. See fees for charges.

Welfare  

A 24-hour emergency telephone number is issued to students and their parents so that a member of staff can be contacted at any time should they encounter any problem or difficulty. Medical support is always available. We maintain very close supervision of students at all times for their safety and well-being and to ensure they derive the maximum benefit from their course.
