Language in Cambridge

Please read these terms and conditions before you book your course at Saint George International's partner school in Cambridge.

What you should remember

  1. Payments must be made in full 2 weeks before the commencement of the course. A place cannot be reserved until payment is made.
  2. You must be 16 years of age or over.
  3. Each lesson consists of 45 minutes tuition.

Accommodation notes

  1. We recommend students to arrive either on a Saturday or Sunday and stay for a minimum of one week. Accommodation will be charged on a per night basis.
  2. Students wishing to extend their accommodation after arrival at the school may do so by speaking to our accommodation officer.
  3. For most accommodation twin rooms are strictly for two people booking together for the same dates. The price shown is per person.
  4. Students are recommended to book courses and accommodation as early as possible for the summer period to be sure of their reservation.

Travel and Medical Insurance

Students are advised to take out Travel and Medical Insurance before arriving. This can be provided by Saint George International.

Your cover includes:

  1. Medical and Associated Expenses £50,000
  2. Cancellation and Curtailment £3,000
  3. Baggage £500
  4. Money £300
  5. Personal Liability £500,000

The above limits are for UK only and exclude expenses in the country of origin with the exception of cancellation and curtailment charges for which Medical Certificates must be provided. The first £20 of each claim is not insured. Bank & National Holidays

The School is open on all Bank Holidays except for Christmas, when the school will be closed.

Cancellations & Refunds

For students who have not yet arrived

If more than two weeks' notice is given: All tuition, accommodation and transfers will be refunded. A £100 charge will be made to cover SGI expenses. If less than two weeks notice is given: 2 weeks tuition and accommodation will be retained by SGI. The balance will be refunded.

A full refund will be given in the case of a refused entry visa, but a £50 charge will be made by Saint George International to cover expenses. Official proof of refusal from the British authorities will be required.

For students who have started their course

No refund will be made for airport transfers (arrival or departure) and/or insurance. No refund will be made on tuition fees, but students who wish to defer their programme may do so at no extra cost, within that academic year. Accommodation refunds will be made at the discretion of SGI. In all cases refunds will only be made to the individual who paid SGI for the course. A 5% charge will be deducted from all credit card refunds.
