• The closest airports are Stansted and Luton and it takes less than one hour to travel to London by train.
• Punting is a great way to see the sights of Cambridge from the river. Punts are narrow, flat-bottomed boats which are steered and propelled by a person using a long pole.
• Cambridge University has been the location for some famous scientific breakthroughs, including Watson and Crick’s discovery of DNA, and Rutherford’s splitting of the atom.
