English writing COMPETITION – My life as a movie

Life as a movie(Congratulations to Milena Marczak from Poland who won our November Free English Lessons Competition.)   This month our English Lessons Competition is all about film & you! Which movie is like your life?   It’s a kind of English writing competition because to win the great prize you have to write a short Google+ comment below.

HOW TO ENTER THE ENGLISH WRITING COMPETITION

1. Your GOOGLE+ comment has to continue this sentence: IF MY LIFE WERE A FILM/MOVIE IT WOULD BE _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ BECAUSE…   2. So, in the GOOGLE+ comment section, write: – the NAME OF THE MOVIE and then – EXPLAIN WHY THAT MOVIE IS LIKE YOUR LIFE.   3. Don’t forget to include your NAME and which COUNTRY you are from!

Example 1

IF MY LIFE WERE A FILM/MOVIE IT WOULD BE Amelie BECAUSE everyone thinks that I am a bit strange and I am always trying to make people fall in love… but I don’t speak French! 🙂 Giulia from Italy

Example 2

IF MY LIFE WERE A FILM/MOVIE IT WOULD BE Star Wars BECAUSE all my life I have been fighting against evil (like Darth Vader), and I’m always running around all over the place with a crazy group of friends (like Han Solo, Chewbacca, C3PO and R2D2). Bren from England     Here are some more blogposts about Film/Cinema. They might be useful to help with your vocabulary 1. Native English speakers talking about best actors, DVDs and crying at movies   2. Best 3 movies ever!!!
