Sample Schedule of Excursions and Activities
Please note
- The morning English language tuition takes place between 9.15 am and 12.45pm Monday to Friday.
- 2 Excursions and 2 activities/events are included in the course fee and would be accompanied by a teacher.
- Optional weekend excursions are not included and are not accompanied by a teacher.

| Monday afternoon | Discussion of programme, and Tour around the Fitzrovia district, the local area to the school. An area popular with writers and artists for over a 100 years. |
| Monday evening | Welcome Party to all course participants at a typical English pub. Enjoy the social and relaxing atmosphere in one of the many nearby pubs. |
| Tuesday afternoon | Excursion: River trip to Greenwich from Tower Bridge. From the awe-inspiring sight of Tower Bridge the river journey takes you past the City down to Greenwich Park, famous for its observatory and the Cutty Sark. |
| Tuesday evening | Free time: Why not try one of our recommended restaurants close to the school. |
| Wednesday afternoon | Free time: An excellent opportunity to explore the West End and all it has to offer. |
| Wednesday evening | Evening activity: Shakespeare in the Park: Come and enjoy a performance of one of Shakespeare’s plays in the lovely tranquil surroundings of Regent’s Park |
| Thursday afternoon | Excursion: Walk by the River Thames: Guided walk along the south bank of the river Thames including a visit to Shakespeare’s Globe theatre and a visit to the Tate Modern. |
| Thursday evening | Free evening: Why not visit the theatre? Speak to staff about special offers available at one of the many nearby theatres. |
| Friday afternoon | Afternoon activity: visit to the BritishMuseum: Come and visit one of the best museums in London. “Mummies” from Egypt, The Rosetta Stone, The Elgin Marbles Statues from Greece and plenty more. One of the best museum collections in the world |
| Friday Evening | Farewell Party to all course participants. |

| Saturday & Sunday | Bath & Stonehenge - every week! — £43.00 The most popular excursion! Enjoy this historic Roman town. The price includes a guided tour of the city and admission to the Roman Baths. You will also go to the mysterious and magical monument of Stonehenge, built over 5,000 years ago, and nobody knows why, not even Max. |
| Saturday | Cambridge — £32.00 Visit Cambridge with its 700 year-old university colleges, river cafes and shops. A wonderful way to spend a day, with over four hours of free time. |
| Sunday | York by train — £39.00 Spend the weekend in the jewel of northern England – York. Beautiful city with old city walls, great historic centre, lots of good pubs and the famous cathedral, York Minster. Did you know York used to be the capital of England before everyone saw sense and moved to London? Great place to visit |
| Sunday | Brighton — £30.00 Brighton is one of the nicest seaside towns in England - come and see for yourself. You will be taken on a guided tour and into the Royal Pavilion, George III’s amazing Indian style palace. A great place to visit! |
